Two weeks to Lumine
|
|
Hello Reader,
We are almost there. Lumine, from the Latin lumen, meaning light, opens on September 25, and because you joined the waitlist, you are getting a preview before anyone else.

Every morning brings a new card attuned to the energy of the day. The timing engine is grounded in chronobiology, the science of the body’s internal clocks, honored with the 2017 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, together with published research showing that sleep shifts measurably across the lunar month.
Each movement progresses on the NASM OPT training model, building from stabilization through strength to power, and each meal draws on nutrition science and the season you are living in. Your priority access opens on the 25th, along with complimentary access for three months to the core methodology.

Three Clocks
Ever notice around three o'clock most afternoons, after ninety minutes of good work, your focus drifts and a snack starts calling? That dip is the ultradian clock, the roughly ninety minute rhythm of focus and recovery that runs through the whole day (and night!), and it is one of three clocks the body keeps at once. You've likely heard of the circadian clock, which follows light and dark across 24 hours. The infradian clock runs longer, through monthly cycles and the seasons, the same kind of clock that tells birds when to migrate.
We are ruled by nature's rhythm. I wrote a longer blog about aligning our actions by these clocks to optimize our sleep, mood, and wellbeing. I truly believe this is the secret to longevity and living longer, better.
