Dear Reader, Happy Thanksgiving weekend! Today I'm grateful to be alive, which isn't a given since I almost died 2 years ago after being gaslit by doctors.
Turns out it was not "all in my head."
Grateful to be Alive
TLDR: I almost died because doctors dismissed my crime scene periods as “normal for my age”, told I was in perimenopause and should wait it out or get a hysterectomy. Turns out I had fibroids (one which ended up being 16cm when seen on an MRI). I almost died from hemorrhaging and ended up with two separate fibroid surgeries in my quest to save my uterus. Gaslit. Misdiagnosed. Ignored. With a shitty quality of life for nearly 7 years. What happened to me is happening to millions of other women in their 40s. It’s the reason I started Rêve Health. Yesterday was Thanksgiving and I am most grateful to be alive. I want to empower women to take back control of their health, and it starts by telling my story.
My startup is hosting a Spring Serenity retreat at the Sterling Forest Lodge in Stowe, Vermont.
We only have 3 rooms left!
This is truly an incredible retreat, with 3 meals a day of organic farm-to-table vegetarian meals, guided nature walks, wellness symposiums, fire ceremonies, sauna, hot tub, and cold plunge sessions, Yoga, optional massage, and more.
Join me May 1-4 for an incredible reset, and a way to rejuvenate after a long winter.
